Document Properties describe the entire web page and include elements like the page's background, the color scheme and the title.

In Netscape Editor, you access the Document Propoerties using the menu: Properties - Document.

Changing the page background

You can either assign a new color to the background or you can use an image.

Use the menu: Properties - Document

A window will pop up like the one below:

To change the background color,

Click the background button  and choose a new background color from the color picker.

To apply an image,

Click the button marked "Browse for File" and select the image from the list of files on your floppy disk (the A:\ drive).

Click "OK"

The image will be tiled in the background.  Tiled means that the image will be repeated to the left and down over and over in the background.

This is the image.

This is how the image will appear as a tiled background.
